How long does it take to fly to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas?

Direct flights from the Grand Canyon that fly into Las Vegas range from 35 to 70 minutes.

Airplane tours from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon range from 4 to 9-1/2 hours depending on your selected tour destinations.

Is a day trip from Vegas to the Grand Canyon worth it?

We certainly think so! Even if you only have one free day or afternoon in your Las Vegas vacation, you can experience the Grand Canyon aboard an air tour with Papillon. We offer daily helicopter flights directly to the West Rim, which even land on the bottom of the canyon floor. We also operate daily sightseeing airplane flights to the Grand Canyon National Park. We offer a range of departure times and flight durations, and the most competitive pricing in the industry.

How long do you fly over the actual Canyon?

The distance covered during your Grand Canyon air tour can vary depending on whether you are traveling aboard an airplane tour or a helicopter tour, and the duration of tour that you select. No matter how much time you have to spend on your Grand Canyon day trip, we have the perfect tour to show you the most beautiful aerial views of the park!

Is it better to visit the West Rim or South Rim of the Grand Canyon?

Both the Grand Canyon South Rim and the West Rim offer incredible sightseeing, but different tourist experiences. The South Rim is where you'll find some of the most world-recognized landscapes, and is more developed with restaurants, shops, and historic hotels. The West Rim is more wild and natural, home to the Skywalk Bridge, unique lookout points, and a nearby Native American village available for visitation. The West Rim is also the only area of the park where helicopter tours land on the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
