This Grand Canyon Airplane tour takes passengers from our Boulder City, NV to the Grand Canyon West, located within the lands of the Hualapai Native American Tribe. This 35-minute flight to the Grand Canyon includes incredible aerial views of Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, and the Colorado River.
The West Rim offers a hop-on/hop-off shuttle service for easy travel between various points of interest. Both Eagle Point and Guano Point allow visitors to marvel at the brilliant colors adorning the two-billion-year-old walls of the canyon. Eagle Point is home to the Skywalk Bridge. Your tour includes entry onto this world-famous glass-bottomed bridge – you can walk out over 70 feet past the canyon’s edge and feel as though you’re standing in the sky!
The tall bluff at Guano Point offers incredible 360-degree views of the canyon walls, perfect for capturing a variety of photos. Guests can also purchase a meal at their convenience during their visit to the Grand Canyon. Return to your airplane for an equally scenic flight back to the Boulder City air terminal.

- What is the Grand Canyon Skywalk?
The Grand Canyon Skywalk, also known as the Grand Canyon glass bridge, offers fantastic views 4,000 feet into the canyon from a 10-foot wide, horseshoe-shaped glass structure that turns one of the world’s seven natural wonders into a thrilling, must-see experience.
- Do you have working lockers at the terminal if I can’t bring my backpack?
Our Boulder City, NV terminal does offer lockers for personal item storage. Note that no large backs are permitted on the helicopters; bags can be brought on airplanes but will be weighed before stowing. It is suggested that passengers bring as few items possible to account for the weight and balance of the aircraft.
Visitors to the Skywalk at the Grand Canyon West Rim will also be able to store their personal belongings in provided lockers.
- Are cameras allowed on the Skywalk Bridge?
No - cameras and cellphones are not permitted on the Skywalk Bridge. Visitors will be provided a locker free of charge to store their items before entering the bridge. This is to prevent any kind of damage to the glass panels from accidentally dropping an item. A professional photographer will be present for those interested in purchasing a souvenir photo.
- Is it worth visiting the Grand Canyon West Rim?
Visiting the Grand Canyon West Rim is definitely worth it! It is the closest access point to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas. From the Western Rim, visitors can visit famous lookout points Eagle Point and Guano Point, walk on the Grand Canyon Skywalk, land at the bottom of the Grand Canyon in a helicopter, float down the Colorado River on a river tour and enjoy breathtaking views of the canyon in all directions!
